RECIPE: TURKISH STYLE PASTRY PIE
INGREDIENTS: Yufka, 2 eggs, 400ml milk, 3 slices sausages, 300g mozzarella cheese.
PREPARATION:
- Place the pastry in a non-stick oven pan as the edges go beyond the rims.
- Place the chopped sausages, grated cheese on the pastry.
- In a separate bowl whisk the eggs and milk together.
- Pour the mixture over the filing. Fold over the edges of the pastry so that all meet in the centre.
- Place the ready pie in fridge and leave there for 15 minutes.
- In a saucepan heat some vegetable oil and fry both sides of the pie.
- Sliced pie is ready to serve.
RECIPE: CIGAR SHAPED PASTRY
INGREDIENTS: Yufka, 500g feta cheese, 8 pieces of parsley, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 2 glasses of olive oil.
PREPARATION:
- Cut the whole pastry sheets circular 8 pieces.
- Mix the Feta cheese with the chopped parsley and black pepper.
- Put the filling onto the cut pastry pieces and roll in the cigar shape.
- Fry in hot oil then serve.
